Where it lives, where it goes, and what Arc never sees.

On your machine

  • Documents are parsed on your machine.
  • Their units are kept in a local store, under ~/.hunter-rag/.
  • Queries over the store run locally and change nothing.

To your model provider, when the agent works

The agent's questions and the units it opens go to the model endpoint you configure: OpenAI, a gateway, or a model running on your own machine. Nothing else leaves.

To Arc

Nothing. Hunter-RAG has no telemetry and makes no call to Arc.
